Halloween is over and now it is November. That means it's time to look forward to Thanksgiving right? Well, it USED to mean that. Now it seems that the "holiday season" runs from Nov. 1-Jan. 1 with the star of the season being Christmas. I'm not complaining, I love Christmas. I just wish we could finish up fall & Thanksgiving before we begin to focus exclusively on it! We were at Target on Friday and they had all their cute Halloween signs hanging in the store along with pictures of cute children standing next to Christmas trees in the girls clothing area. Just seems wrong! Anyway, I figured I better get a quick Thanksgiving card and simple project uploaded before I clear the decks to start Christmas projects myself. Yep, sadly I too am following along and focusing my projects on Christmas cards, bags, & tags right now. I have a Christmas card class in a few weeks and a bags & tags class after that so I can't wait until November 27 to get started. At least I waited until the day after Halloween to start!

Hello!
I have tried to post this a few times the last few days but my pictures weren't cooperating so I'm trying again. I'm sorry I haven't posted any updates this month. I have been creating lots of Halloween cards but was just lazy about taking pictures. So today you get all of them in one post. My details will be just the basics (colors, stamp set used). Please email me if you need specifics on any project.
Peace,
Here are some easy treat boxes made from a template I got from another blogger. We made them at my stamping get together last month. Jenny & I made a whole set for her teachers.

Peace,
I didn't get to do as much crafting as I wanted this weekend but, I did get a couple of cards done. Actually make that 4 cards because I've started making two of every card I make. Trust me, it is not that much harder to make two when you are making one. I am sharing my duplicates with my aunt who is doing the same thing. I can't wait to see what she is creating. She is newly retired and having a blast stamping and creating cards.
I decided to try a few sketches a found online. They are updated weekly so it's a great way to get fresh ideas for cards on a regular basis. The first card is based on this sketch from Splitcoast Stampers
Here is my take on it:
Recipe: (all items Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Halloween Hoot
Paper: Basic Black, Green Galore, Bride Specialty Paper (Brayered with Only Orange Classic Ink)
Ink: Basic Black, Creamy Caramel, & Only Orange Classic Stamp Pads & Green Galore, Only Orange, & Yoyo Yellow Stampin' Write Markers
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds and Green Galore Brads
I will get the other card uploaded first thing in the morning!
Peace,
Hello! I have been a bad blogger! I have been crafting but sadly, not uploading and sharing. I'm sorry! I also have some blogs to visit to see what my fellow stampers are up to so be looking for my comments on your great projects!
Stampin’ Up! just released the 2009-10 Idea Book & Catalog and it’s loaded with new products that every stamper must have. As part of the Summer Fun celebration, Stampin Addicts is holding a blog contest during the month of July-- giving away a Big Shot die pack made up of 5 new exclusive Stampin’ Up! dies. Click here to enter--good luck!
It's been a long time (a month!) since I posted a new card and I am sorry! With the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book debuting July 1, I wanted to share a card I made from the new set Circle Circus. I had a great time Monday night at the home of my upline, Sharon Armstrong. She has been a demonstrator for 12 years and I'm blessed to be in her downline. She has so much great creativity & information to share. She had a few cards, a hostess gift, and a door prize idea. We went from table to table making all the samples. The card I am sharing with you (Sharon's idea) uses a set that I preordered called Circle Circus. I have seen some cute cards made by other demos with this set too. I really like it!! It also uses some of the brand new In Colors for 2009-2010. There are 6 new colors and I love them all!!! Here is the card and the details below.
I also wanted to share a GREAT resource for making SU color combos. I think most demos know about it but my customers might not. It has been updated to include the brand new In Colors too!
I kind of have a "thing" for cupcakes. I love baking them and eating them of course but I also love things that have a cute image of a cupcake on them. I have picked up scrapbook paper, stickers, die cuts and now this adorable Stampin' Up! set. I couldn't wait to use it. I know that I CASE'ed this card from someone and it might have even been someone in my blog ring. If it's yours, please take credit! I'm looking forward to making more cards with some of the other images in this set.
